Holidays in Chestertown
It’s the Holiday Season here in Chestertown! Dickens Festival was the first weekend in December – what a wonderful event. Bonfires in the street, various retail vendors, good music and delicious food vendors. Our guests took advantage of our location and were able to go out for a while to shop and purchase food and then come back inside to eat and get warm while still being able to hear the music and then head back out again to continue the festivities.
Farmer’s Market out front of the Swan
Backyard
The Farmer’s Market is still going strong even though it’s been a bit cold. The market was crowded with folks this past Saturday buying supplies for the snow we had in the forecast. And it did indeed snow! Guests woke up to a frosted town. I’ve taken a few photos of what it has looked like from inside. In true Eastern Shore fashion it is all melting away today and they are calling for a windy storm to roll through tonight into tomorrow.
